School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering Order of the Engineer

The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. MME’s Link 60 Order of the Engineer Induction Ceremonies

Each Fall and Spring semester, graduating students and faculty members are given the opportunity to be inducted into the Order of the Engineer. Other Washington State University engineering programs also conduct induction ceremonies for Link 60. Total inducted by MME, fall 2004 through fall 2017: 1,499.
